ShoesRoom by Momad once again became a great trading platform for the footwear and accessories industry. The fair, organized by IFEMA, concentrated the main national and international brands from 20 to 22 September in La Nave—a unique industrial-style location, close to the centre of Madrid. Nearly 3,000 professional visitors attended the event, 2% more than in the previous edition.
Quality and innovation
Quality and innovation were fundamental elements at the event, which saw significant commercial activity and a marked international presence. In this edition of ShoesRoom by Momad, 112 exhibiting brands participated, exhibiting their collections for the Spring-Summer 2020 and Autumn-Winter 2019/20 seasons.
Internationalization of ShoesRoom by Momad
In order to strengthen the relationship with the buyer and contribute to the internationalization of the exhibiting brands, the fair once again organized an important international guest buyer programme. This programme is carried out in collaboration with ICEX and with the support of FICE (Federation of Spanish Footwear Industries) and attracted 27 international buyers.
A total of 18 foreign exhibitors from 7 countries (Bulgaria, Dominican Republic, France, China, Italy, Portugal and Turkey) contributed to the international visibility of the show. In addition, 127 foreign visitors attended the event.
In addition, the commercial activity was complemented by an interesting programme of talks and presentations, which were very well attended and which analysed crucial issues for the sector such as the impact of digitalization, online sales, technology, sustainability and the best business strategies.
