ANGEL CHEN x H&M designer collaboration calls out East-meet-West street style
H&M is thrilled to release its commercial featured its debut collaboration with a Chinese designer exudes oriental charm, the ANGEL CHEN x H&M collaboration collection. Inspired by the theme of “Kung Fu”, the collection portrays a surprising, unique east-meet-west street style via groundbreaking combination of vivid colour and embroidery. ANGEL CHEN x H&M collaboration collection will be available in selected H&M stores globally as well as online store (hm.com) from 26 September.
Offering both Menswear and Womenswear, ANGEL CHEN x H&M Men’s collection flows with the rhythm and sports a chic navy blue bomber jacket with dragon embroideries featuring a calligraphic “Kung Fu” embroidery on the cuffs, highlighting the chivalrous spirit; whereas Women’s collection consists ANGEL CHEN’s signature red with an oversized jacket and mini skirt combo paired with a multi-coloured logo knit top, fusing both contemporary street style and Asian traditional elements.
The ANGEL CHEN x H&M collection is a partnership between the Chinese designer Angel Chen and H&M’s in-house design team. It takes Chinese Kung Fu as a source of inspiration by incorporating highly saturated colours, bold embroideries, attractive prints, textures and materials which blend Eastern and Western aesthetics to create a fashion collection that is boundary-breaking, distinctive and rich with the spirit of Kung Fu.
